During the preparations, at the getting-ready, champagne reception, church or party it is art to bring the beauty of the bride, the atmosphere and emotions of the wedding couple professionally on the lens.

The Art of lightning
A very special challenge to a wedding photographer is to shoot at mostly unknown locations with unknown weather or light conditions. A good photographer needs to be able to adapt to these situations and capture these memorable moments professionally. A good photographer is not only looking for the right location, but for the right light in the places given to him to create a romantic atmosphere in the room and to show people with their full beauty. A face needs dynamism and depth, and a body must have contours and curves that can only be represented with the right lighting and positioning.
About me and my work
My name is Paul Kuhn and in 2010 I discovered my passion for photography and since then I have continuously improved my knowledge and skills to make magical moments look impressive. I love to work with natural light, which allows me to capture all important moments and present them in their original form. In some situations I like to highlight objects with my own light. Among other things, I use unleashed highsync speedlights or LED lights.
To be prepared in any case, I take pictures with the brilliant full frame cameras Sony A7R III and Sony A7 III and in combination with the highest quality Carl-Zeiss and G-Master lenses, I can take pictures of the highest quality level with up to 42 megapixels.
I shoot weddings in the style of wedding reportage and fine art photography with aesthetic poses that combine the impressions into spontaneous situations in impressive images.
Each couple is individual to me and I try to outperform all your expectations and wishes. I will answer your questions, give you tips and recommendations and share my experiences with you. I am transparent to you in every way, so you will find me a positive experience.
Process
Meeting or Video-Call
Before the shooting or the booking, we can have a call, skype or meet each other for a coffee to get to know each other and talk about the venue, plans and your wishes. I will show you some of my pictures and share my experiences with you. I am open for all your questions and for new ideas.
Wedding Day
Finally your time has come! The long-awaited day is now upon us. So many thoughts come through your mind. This wonderful day offers so many exciting, romantic and touching moments and it makes me happy to hold them for you and to be a part of it. It is my biggest hobby to capture this wonderful time in a special way!
Postproduction
After our shooting, all pictures will be edited professionally and discreetly. Contrasts, colours, exposure and cut are adjusted. In addition to the natural version, you will also receive selected pictures in black and white, sepia, vintage or with creative editing. Usually the waiting time is about 2 - 6 weeks depending on the season.
